Install, Repair & Maintain
Treatment systems, plumbing connections, filters and equipment service.
Different symptoms call for different equipment. PD looks at the water source, what you notice and any available test findings before discussing treatment.
White buildup on fixtures, cloudy glassware and scale in appliances can point to hardness minerals. A conventional softener and a filter solve different problems.
Chlorine taste, sulfur-like odor or an unfamiliar smell calls for an evaluation of the water source and the treatment equipment appropriate to the concern.
Rust-colored stains, visible particles and changing well-water conditions may require targeted filtration and appropriate water testing.
Leaks, reduced flow, unusual controls, worn filters or softener-regeneration problems may be serviceable without replacing the entire system.

PD installs, repairs and replaces whole-home treatment and drinking-water systems, with appropriate equipment chosen for the water supply, plumbing and treatment goal.

Installation and replacement of whole-home systems selected for the home's water supply, usage and the substances the equipment is rated to address.

Salt-based softeners, replacements, control and valve service, brine tanks and associated water-line connections for hardness concerns.

Water-conditioning options for homeowners comparing scale-management approaches with conventional hardness-removing softeners.

Under-sink RO installation, replacement and service, including the dedicated faucet, storage tank, drain and feed-water connections when applicable.

Targeted equipment options for qualifying iron, sulfur-related odor and sediment concerns, selected according to testing and actual water conditions.

Help with filters, valves, connections, leaks and qualifying existing equipment, including other brands. Share the model and problem so PD can confirm parts and service availability.
From diagnosis of an existing softener to a complete filtration installation, PD reviews the water and equipment, explains options, completes approved work and checks the operating system.
Describe the symptoms, whether you have city or well water, and any existing equipment or test results.
PD reviews the water source, reported concerns, available test information, plumbing connections and installation conditions.
We explain which type of filtration, softening, conditioning or drinking-water treatment may fit. Additional testing may be needed before equipment selection.
We review equipment, space, plumbing modifications, upkeep and the project-specific price before installation or repair begins.
PD completes the approved equipment installation, repair, filter replacement or other water-treatment work.
We check accessible connections and system operation, then explain the controls, maintenance schedule and any further testing recommended.
PD installs HALO water-treatment products while helping customers understand what each selected configuration is intended to do.
Already own a different system? PD can assess service, parts and plumbing compatibility instead of limiting every visit to new HALO equipment.
Water-treatment projects can involve bypasses, drains, shutoffs, supply lines, dedicated faucets and space or access constraints. PD works on the connected plumbing as well as equipment.
A hardness problem, taste complaint and contaminant concern are not the same diagnosis. Recommendations depend on the source, testing and the performance of specific equipment.

Compare treatment approaches
A softener, conditioner, whole-home filter and reverse-osmosis system do different jobs. The best option depends on what is in your water and where you need treatment—not simply the brand of equipment.
Salt-based water softener
Reduces hardness minerals through ion exchange.
Salt-free conditioner
Changes how certain minerals behave in qualifying applications.
Whole-home filtration
Treats water entering the home using media chosen for particular concerns.
Reverse osmosis
Treats water at a point of use, often at a kitchen drinking-water faucet.
A salt-free conditioner does not remove hardness like an ion-exchange softener. If contaminants are the concern, a hardness strip is not a drinking-water safety test; appropriate testing may be necessary.
Real PD water-treatment installations, including a completed project with whole-home HALO 5 filtration and a separate under-sink reverse-osmosis system.

Completed Installation
PD completed a project combining whole-home HALO 5 filtration with a separate under-sink HALO reverse-osmosis drinking-water system. Work included isolation and bypass connections, equipment installation, RO faucet and tank connections, startup flushing and operational checks.

Drinking-Water Treatment
Under-sink equipment illustrates the filters, storage tank and small water-line connections used for point-of-use drinking-water treatment. Each system requires the correct faucet, supply and drain arrangement.

Whole-Home Water Treatment
Installed HALO H2Zero tanks show one possible whole-home configuration. Conditioning and filtration capabilities depend on the specific model and equipment supplied.

Point-of-Use Filtration
A dedicated faucet makes treated drinking and cooking water available at the kitchen sink without implying that every fixture receives reverse-osmosis water.
Existing equipment & ongoing care
Not every water-treatment system needs the same upkeep. HALO 5 is designed for automatic backwashing—not annual manual flushing or routine cartridge replacement. A traditional salt-based softener may need salt and regeneration service, while RO filters and membranes have model-specific replacement schedules.
PD can investigate low flow, leaks, bypasses, valves, controls and operating problems on many existing systems, including equipment installed by other companies when compatible parts and access are available.

Hard-water spots returning or a softener that will not regenerate? PD checks the brine system, controls, valves and connected plumbing before recommending repairs.
Low flow at the drinking-water faucet, leaks or overdue filters? PD checks the RO system, storage tank, membrane and connections, with replacement needs based on the model.
Certified HALO installation & other-brand service
PD installs HALO water-treatment products, including appropriate whole-home filtration and drinking-water configurations. PD also services many existing softeners, RO systems, valves and related plumbing from other manufacturers.
HALO whole-home filtration
Select equipment for the incoming water and household demand.
RO & other-brand equipment
Service and parts availability depend on brand and model.

Water treatment for businesses
PD can evaluate commercial filtration and softener needs for restaurants, offices, rental properties and other facilities. The equipment must be selected for actual demand, water conditions and the intended use.

No. A conventional salt-based softener removes hardness minerals through ion exchange. Salt-free conditioning works differently and does not remove hardness minerals in the same way. The right choice depends on the concern and the equipment.
Reverse osmosis commonly treats water at a dedicated drinking-water faucet, while a whole-home filter treats incoming water for multiple fixtures. Some homes benefit from both, depending on water conditions and treatment goals.
PD works with qualifying well-water, sediment, iron, sulfur and UV-treatment equipment. Suitable testing helps determine what is present and which treatment approach is appropriate.
No. A hardness test does not establish the presence or absence of bacteria, lead, arsenic or other contaminants. Separate testing may be necessary for a specific drinking-water concern.
HALO 5 is designed for automatic backwashing rather than routine cartridge changes or manual annual flushing. Initial installation flushing is a separate startup procedure. Service requirements depend on the exact model and any separately installed equipment.
Typically, yes. RO systems have model-specific filter and membrane replacement schedules; conventional salt-based softeners require salt and may need valve or regeneration service. PD can review the brand and model before servicing.
PD can evaluate qualifying business water-treatment projects, including filtration and softening needs. Commercial equipment must be selected for the actual water source, demand and application; a residential model is not automatically suitable.
Pricing depends on equipment type and capacity, water conditions, access, plumbing connections and any necessary drain or electrical work. PD reviews the proposed scope and provides project-specific pricing before approved work begins.
